Both options use a vacuum base, so neither solves an incompatible mounting surface. Compare those differences against your counter and cleaning routine, while keeping the unresolved specifications below in mind. Start with the place you intend to use it
Record the available surface and its condition, along with the clear space around it. For an edge-mounted design, note the slab thickness, shape of the edge and access beneath it. For a vacuum-mounted design, ask the manufacturer which surface materials and finishes are compatible and how the base must be prepared and secured.
Do not assume that the words granite, marble or laminate settle the question. Give the seller a description of the actual finish, joints and available area. Request the exact model's mounting instructions. A broad statement such as “strong grip” is not a substitute for them.

Match the routine to how often you prepare coconut
