Which arrangement suits your cupboard?

Compare UTRUSTA when you have one of its named cabinet systems and want fixed pull-out trays. Consider a wheeled caddy when you prefer a removable organiser and its loaded route clears the plumbing. Choose the exact Stone or Grey model by its own dimensions; similar names do not make their specifications interchangeable.

Map the cabinet before choosing an organiser

Record the clear internal width, depth and height where the proposed unit will sit. Measure obstructions separately: plumbing, valves, hinges, door edges and any fixed shelves. Keep access to the plumbing available. A box-shaped empty-space measurement can hide an obstruction that intersects only the upper tray or the pull-out route.

For a sliding design, check the route from its closed position through the open door. Include the door opening and the space where you will stand to retrieve a bottle. For a freestanding design, check whether you can lift or withdraw the intended contents without dismantling the arrangement. The organiser fitting inside the cupboard does not prove that it can be used there.

Record whether mounting is permitted and what cabinet system you have. A product designed for particular cabinet systems needs documented compatibility; similar cabinet depth alone is insufficient. Ask the manufacturer about an unlisted cabinet before treating it as compatible.

Mounted trays: IKEA UTRUSTA 306.027.35

The official IKEA India product page identifies this side-mounted pull-out organiser as article 306.027.35. It has two trays, and the upper tray offers three height settings. Listed product dimensions are 35 cm wide, 29.2 cm deep and 43.2 cm high.

IKEA names METOD and KNOXHULT 60 cm deep base cabinets and previously sold deep FAKTUM cabinets in its compatibility information. This is a conditional cabinet-system candidate. It is not established as a universal accessory for locally made Indian kitchen cabinets. The listed dimensions are also not a measured full-extension envelope.

The frame and baskets are steel with epoxy/polyester powder coating. Care instructions specify a soft damp cloth, mild non-abrasive detergent when needed and wiping dry. This documentation does not establish dishwasher cleaning, resistance to persistent water exposure or an independent corrosion-performance result.

The current page gives a total maximum load of 10 kg. Saved product-page evidence from 3 October also recorded tray limits of 8 kg and 2 kg. The reviewed product text does not explicitly assign those limits to the upper and lower tray. Do not divide the total equally or infer the assignment from the trays' appearance. Resolve that mapping before planning a loaded installation. Packaging weight is excluded from the empty product weight field.

What the assembly evidence establishes

The 3 October review of the official assembly instructions, document AA-2553861-2, show separate cabinet-specific routes and mirrored left and right installations. The METOD mounting route differs from the FAKTUM and KNOXHULT routes. The latter routes refer to template AA-2567673, and the diagrams distinguish upper and lower mounting hardware.

Follow the complete instructions for the actual cabinet and mounting side. The numbered cabinet-hole positions in these diagrams are not millimetre clearances. They should not be converted into drilling offsets for an unrelated cabinet. The diagrams also show attaching the frame to the rails, fastening it, placing covers and hooking each tray at two points. Removal illustrations show releasing the rail mechanisms before withdrawing the frame.

This visual review supports checking the correct installation branch. It does not prove load capacity in a different cabinet, a required plumbing clearance or the measured distance travelled during extension. No installation has been performed for this guide.

Compare loaded access

Use one row per candidate with these fields: exact model, cabinet compatibility, mounting side, closed external dimensions, full operating envelope, obstruction positions, tray height settings, permitted load per tray, contents and component care. Keep unknown fields visible.

For each intended bottle or packet, record its dimensions and loaded weight. Check access at the proposed tray setting rather than counting only how many items fit in a rectangle. Check that the assembled unit can close and extend without contacting plumbing or hinges. A total load rating cannot replace an unresolved tray limit.

Compare a mounted unit with a freestanding alternative only after each has its own specifications. Search results for under-sink organisers can include general baskets and sink caddies. A similar title does not establish the same mounting method or storage task.

Removable caddy: Joseph Joseph Stone

The Joseph Joseph CupboardStore Easy-Access Storage Caddy, Stone SKU 8500022, provides a different access approach: wheels and a front pull lip rather than the UTRUSTA cabinet-mounted frame. The manufacturer declares a 46.2 cm depth, 16.8 cm width and 11.2 cm caddy height, with separate bottle and small-item compartments. Its care instruction is damp-cloth wiping.

For a fit check, add your tallest stored bottle to the obstacle worksheet: the caddy's height does not describe the loaded bottle height. Check the full route past hinges, the cabinet threshold and plumbing. No kilogram load limit or usable compartment measurements were established. The linked Stone page is the UK manufacturer listing; Indian supply is not established.

A saved October marketplace search led to grey model 85197, ASIN B08QH23M2P. Its expanded item details explicitly list 85197 as both model and manufacturer part number. That offer does not establish a match for stone SKU 8500022; specifications and affiliate links must stay attached to the exact variant they document.

Grey model 85197: exact correspondence established

The manufacturer's grey caddy page explicitly identifies SKU 85197, matching the Amazon model and part number. It declares H11.2 × W46.2 × D17.1 cm, with the orientation labels retained as published, and instructs lifting the front lip before wheeling the caddy out. Cleaning is by damp cloth.

This establishes a separately documented grey candidate. It does not establish a load limit, internal compartment size or India warranty. The recycled-content statement for stone 8500022 is not transferred to this model. The linked Grey page is the US manufacturer listing; current Indian delivery is not established.

Model correspondence does not establish cabinet fit, load capacity or current delivery. Resolve those requirements for the intended installation before choosing.
