No model has independently tested seal or storage-life results in this guide.

Plan your working spice set

List your frequent spices and the amounts you want in the box. Keep those working amounts separate from the larger packs you purchase. A daily-use box does not automatically provide storage for the rest of every pack.

Check the capacity of each cup rather than relying on the volume of the outer box. That outer volume may include space between cups, the separator and the lid. A maker's seven-container declaration establishes a count; it does not establish how much turmeric, cumin or another ingredient fits in each container. Where cup capacity is missing, leave pack-fit claims unresolved.

Check the spoon and lid workflow

Confirm that your intended spoon fits inside the cup and can reach the quantity you need without colliding with neighbouring cups. A supplied spoon is useful to identify in the parts list, but its presence does not establish its measured capacity or suitability for your recipe quantities.

Check where the outer lid and any separator plate will sit while you cook. Include that space when measuring the intended shelf or counter. A closed box may fit a shelf while leaving little room to remove its lid or lift a cup for refilling. If you plan to move the box between a cabinet and the work surface, assess its loaded weight and grip rather than inferring easy handling from its footprint.

Ask whether the cups lift out independently and whether each has a lid. An outer cover or separator plate does not establish individually sealed cups. We have no evidence here that the candidates prevent aroma transfer between open cups or retain spice freshness for a measured period.

Documented steel candidates

Kraft's page lists MDS at 19 × 19 × 7 cm, MDM at 20.5 × 20 × 7 cm and MDL at 22 × 22 × 7.2 cm. The URL names a medium box, but the latest inspected selection shows Small, SKU MDS, with Small and Large choices. Confirm the selected code and supplied contents rather than treating the URL as variant proof.

The Kraft weight rows are inconsistent: MDS is listed as 0.976 kg, while MDM and MDL are listed as 0.00108 kg and 0.001274 kg. We have not corrected those figures by guessing the intended unit or decimal placement. They cannot support a weight comparison until clarified.

VINOD’s hammered No.10 is a separate product from the Kraft family. The manufacturer text gives 17 cm diameter and 6 cm height. A dimension chart saved and visually checked on 4 October agrees on size but labels 0.7 kg, against 750 g in the page text; weight is therefore excluded. Individual cup capacity and component care remain unresolved. Choose the hammered finish deliberately: a plain or mirror-finish No.10 listing does not establish the same model or supplied parts.

A cup-capacity lead: Coconut MB2

The current Coconut MB2 maker page specifies seven 100 ml cups, a transparent lid and a 25 × 25 × 6 cm exterior. The cups sum to 700 ml nominal volume, divided between seven compartments. That sum does not establish how much of any spice pack fits, and one larger working quantity cannot borrow unused space from another cup.

The inspected Amazon offer B0745K85JF declares a 1500 ml box and approximately 100 grams per bowl without identifying the spice. Those figures do not establish correspondence to the maker’s 100 ml cups. Amazon exposes no MB2 code and lists 980 g, while the current maker page lists 1335 g. Its description names an acrylic lid; the current maker body does not resolve lid material. We therefore leave this offer unmatched. Both pages state dishwasher suitability, but separate lid conditions and spoon clearance remain unverified. Choose by the manufacturer’s exact model and supplied components, rather than treating that marketplace offer as a confirmed match.

Match care to every component

Kraft's linked Storage and Lunchware care section describes mild detergent before first use, warm water and a soft sponge for cleaning, avoiding harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers, and fully drying containers and lids. It permits dishwasher use only when explicitly marked safe. We have not verified that marking for these spice-box variants, so the category instruction does not establish their dishwasher suitability.

For VINOD No.10, component-specific care remains unresolved in the inspected evidence. Obtain instructions for the cups, spoon, separator or cover, outer lid and body before deciding whether the set fits your cleaning routine. A stainless steel declaration alone does not supply those instructions or establish a particular steel grade.

If you consider a wooden outer box, brass body, glass lid or another mixed-material design, check which material touches the spices and how each part is cleaned. Material-specific permissions need manufacturer evidence for the exact product. The appearance of a box is not evidence of seal performance, corrosion resistance or food-contact suitability.

Before choosing an offer

Confirm the model code, finish, size and complete supplied-parts list. Compare the working spice quantities with documented cup capacity, then check spoon access and open-lid clearance. Resolve care requirements and weight discrepancies before using them to choose between products.
